Born and raised in Albion, Michigan, David Murray has spent his entire adult existence looking at life through a camera lens. He began his photographic career using black & white and spent a great deal of time developing his own work. While there was a certain amount of satisfaction in that medium, David discovered his real love was color photography, and he soon abandoned black & white altogether. David has a passion for the outdoors. It seemed a perfect marriage to combine his talent in photography with his love of all things natural. His outdoor/nature photography has been featured at the Festival of the Forks Annual art Show as well as several summer festivals in the area. He also has prints as far away as Europe.

Murray spent over 30 years working as an independent insurance agent. Since 1981, he was the owner of an insurance agency in Albion, selling it in 2002. Since retiring as a full time independent insurance agent, he has spent part of his time as a realtor and the rest of his time photographing as much of the outdoors and nature as he can.
